History, Purpose and Mission of the Visioning Team
Your Visioning team wants to share some information about how the team is working for you and LCOP.
The birth of the Visioning Team started by a grant from our Synod which funded the Luther Springs Retreat.
Luther Springs Retreat held on 5/3/2024
Two goals

To grow to know each other as our church leadership

To seek our vision for our church’s growth and to plan accordingly for the future
The outcome of the goals was to visit the short- and long-term health and well being of LCOP and how can we do church better
To reach these outcomes we had three meetings with our congregation asking for their input. The condensed results of these three meetings are as follows

Web site an mobile site updated for easier reading and navigation. Expanded information and new forms added for easy event registration and feedback.
Eblast revised to address a single issue for better effectiveness

Electronic sign - repaired; new welcome message
Index cards and web form for congregational input
Multiple short update talks to keep the congregation updated on the team's activities and to encourage ongoing congregational input and ideas
