John Gervasi
Hi, I'm John Gervasi, 47 years old, and I grew up on the south shore of Long Island. I got tired of walking my two Boxers in the freezing cold, so I packed up and moved to sunny Florida.
In 2020, after another failed attempt at a career, I realized that one thing was common in all of them—me. That same year, the world experienced a pandemic, and I used that time in solitude to quiet all the distractions around me. I dove in wholeheartedly and became very intentional about my personal growth. My internal work led me to rediscover myself.
In that process, the Holy Spirit spoke to me in ways only our God can, and I received my assignment. My mission is to declare the power of God to the next generation. Everything we want in life can be found in our reflection of ourselves, and the lessons are in the work. There’s no easy way around it. I took the role on the council at the beginning of this year, in February 2025, with a focus on leadership and fellowship.
Now, I am living a life guided by Christ consciousness—bringing awareness of embodiment, not worship. Jesus taught us to embody him, do the work, and live like him—plain and simple. I intentionally work on renewing my mind daily. So, if you don't see me with a leash in my hands, you'll find me working like an athlete, growing in spirit and love every day.
