My name is Linda Lund, Minister of Music at Lutheran Church of the Palms. 

I have been the director of music here at LCOP since 2017 after beginning the

search for a retirement home in Florida while still living in Sweden.   I have been

a Lutheran Church Musician since 1981.  I received my undergraduate degree in

Church Music from Wittenberg University and continued my graduate studies at

Northwestern University.  I have always loved liturgy, biblical studies and music

and so Church Music seemed a very natural fit for me.

Here at Lutheran church of the Palms we are blessed with talented and

dedicated musicians. Our choir leads weekly worship year round while our bell

choir provides music as available throughout the year. ​

​

Our hymnody includes all traditions and all time periods.  I take special care and 

attention to make certain the music each week supports, enhances

and compliments the scriptural themes of the day. 

​

​All are welcome to participate in our music program. There are no auditions and 

I offer additional help to those who would like to sing but may be afraid to try. 

Whether you like to sing or ring there is a place here for you!  No judgment, just 

fun, fellowship and the joy of making music together!
